A natural health centre in Harborough is holding a free taster day this month so people can sample its services.
The event at Archway House on Lubenham Hill is a chance for people to look around the site, speak to practitioners and sample some services.
It is being held on Saturday, September 28 from 1pm to 4pm, and will showcase the range of health services on offer, from acupuncture to chiropractic. The centre is also raising funds for the Squires Effect charity.
The Archway House site includes Sheeda’s Day Spa and the Bodyfitness gym, both of which will be open and offering taster training sessions and mini make-overs.
All sessions are free to attend, but visitors can make a voluntary donation to the Squires Effect if they wish.
The day will offer a range of taster sessions, including spinal screenings, massage, reflexology and Pilates, as well as talks on a variety of subjects such as allergies and nutrition. Practitioners will also be on hand to answer any questions and explain more about what they do.
There will be a farmers’ market with produce from Waterloo Farm and Welton’s as well as cakes for sale and wine tasting.
The staff at Archway are also running a raffle with prizes which include £100 of Archway House vouchers, beauty and fitness vouchers and a hamper worth £100, with proceeds to the Squires Effect
Archway House owner Alec Welton said: “Many people in the area still don’t know quite what we do here, so we thought it would be good to open our doors to the community so they can take a look around and find out more about how we can help them.
“It’s also a great opportunity to raise money for a local charity.”
