Businesses in Harborough can expect to bloom in 2014, says entrepreneur Nicola Denny who has just opened a new marketing firm, called May.
She calls her team the “darling buds”, and they officially launched at Harborough Innovation Centre last month.
The firm describes itself as is an innovative company delivering specialist marketing expertise and creative thinking.
With over 15 years in the industry, Nicola wanted to use her experience and knowledge to develop a unique and invaluable marketing service.
May pitches itself as more than just an agency and consultancy.
Managing director Nicola said: “We are comfortable knowing we don’t fit in with the rest of the marketing ‘agency’ world.
“We’ve worked in-house as marketers. We understand the problems clients face on a daily basis, the hassles and obstacles to overcome.”
May has hired highly experienced senior marketers who work with companies to deliver robust and inspiring marketing strategies with a strong commercial focus, said Nicola.
“We are passionate about making a difference and delivering first-class work,” Nicola added.
“The key to our early success has been the collaborative and flexible approach to working with clients.”
The firm works with companies in a number of ways but always as an extension of their team and sometimes even has a desk in their client’s office.
It is pleased with its new home at the innovation centre, at Airfield Business Park on the A6.
Nicola said: “It gives us a base in a dynamic environment and allows May to serve the whole of the Midlands.
