Roadworks causing congestion

MOTORISTS are reporting delays in the Gores Lane/Kettering Road area of Harborough while roadworks take place.

Braybrooke Road and Scotland Road are closed at the moment while contractors re-surface the road as well as sections of footpath along Northampton Road and Braybrooke Road.

Motorists have contacted the Mail today (Tuesday) to report delays in Kettering Road and Gores Lane as a result.

The closure could last a further nine days but a spokesman for Leicestershire County Council Highways department told the Mail last week that they hope work to complete work before that.
