A Harborough woman was inspired to start up her own business after becoming tired of an old tattoo.

Karen Bradley’s new business, called Erasure, uses laser technology to gradually remove old tattoos which people want to either cover up or remove entirely.

The former home carer said her new venture was a complete departure from her former occupation.

She added: “I’d wanted to start up my own business and as I had an old tattoo I wanted to remove I thought there might be other people in the same boat.”

Erasure is located off St Mary’s Road. The entrance is between Timo Restaurant and the adjacent newsagent shop.

Karen, who runs the business on her own, says the laser is non-invasive gradually breaks down tattoos over a period of time. Tattoos can take between three and 15 sessions to break down.

She added: “People may need to remove tattoos for work or because they want to cover an older one up.”

As an introductory offer, she is offering half-hour sessions for £25.
