Kate has extensive legal and tax experience and is a private client solicitor, able to assist with wills, probate, powers of attorney, family law and trusts.

She is also dual qualified as a chartered tax adviser.

She will be teaming up with the firm’s specialist tax advisor Leanne Hathaway.

Paul Stubbs, the managing director of Edward Hands & Lewis, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kate. She is very highly respected.”

Kate added: “This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m looking forward to shaping the firm’s tax and trusts offering.”

Edward Hands and Lewis’ Market Harborough office is at Union Wharf.

Formed in 18907, it also has offices in Leicester and
London.

With nearly 30 staff members and 15 fee earners, the town’s branch has doubled in size in the past two years.
