Harborough firm on the right track with new contract
A HARBOROUGH-area firm which provides ticketing and sales services to the rail industry has secured a new contract.
Novacroft, which is based near Brixworth, has teamed up with national ticketing and information wfirm Raileasy as a new client, and has now launched Raileasy support calls into its contact centre. Through this new Raileasy contract, Novacroft’s contact centre and customer service team members are now the main point of contact to handle queries, usually calls and emails, from the travelling public.
A spokesman for Novacroft said: “The service is associated with the sale and collection of rail products sold by Raileasy, including fare and timetable enquiries, general enquiries, telesales, and support for Ticket on Departure and refund issues.”
Raileasy, www.raileasy.co.uk, is a National Rail accredited internet retail rail ticket booking engine, and is the number two online retailer of train tickets, after www.thetrainline.com.
Following the contract award, which happened in late 2011, the project went live in Novacroft’s contact centre in February.
