Growing business is a den of antiquity

The Den at Kibworth Antique Centre is now open.

The Den at Kibworth Antique Centre is now open.

An antiques centre which has been open for a year is building on its early successes by expanding.

Kibworth Antiques Centre, which is situated in Leicester Road on the approach into Kibworth, has established itself in the antiques market since it opened a year ago.

In the twelve months since opening, it has firmly established itself as a ‘must visit’ destination for antique and vintage hunters from across the Midlands.

The centre is a veritable Aladdin’s cave of unique, beautiful antiques, vintage finds and classic retro collectables.

It recently held an open weekend to showcase the opening of its new space at the centre, which has been named The Den.

Located just behind the main centre, The Den is now home to around 20 dealers’ collections.

This expansion has made it one of the largest antique retail centres in the region.

Director of the centre Sharron Andrews said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of The Den.

“With this additional space, we now have over 60 dealers selling an eclectic mix of collectables, traditional antiques, shabby chic and everything in-between.

“There really is something for everyone within our walls.”

Refreshments and cakes are also available at AJ’s Coffee room in the main building and there is parking available on site.

It is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am-5pm and on Sundays from 11am-4pm.
