Free advice for fledgling businesses on offer at Start Up seminar

A FREE event for new businesses is taking place in Harborough next week.

The annual Start-Up Harborough seminar and exhibition is on Tuesday at Harborough Innovation Centre with more than 70 businesses signed up to attend and more expected to turn up on the day.

Sponsored by Harborough-based networking group Working Breakfast, it is aimed at people thinking of setting up a new firm or for companies that have been running for up to three years.

It is a drop-in event and includes seminars, workshops and exhibitions. Speakers will offers tips and advice on running a business, marketing, printing, accounting and design.

Alastair Campbell of the Ideal Marketing Company will also interview Mail editor Brian Dodds about how small businesses can get publicity in the local media.
