A new business is making deliveries of fresh boxes of butchered meat, fish and seafood to district doorsteps.

Robert Van Der Liet, of Jack Sprat, has now expanded his wholesale meat business to include household deliveries.

Mr Van Der Liet said: “For too long the only options for great quality meat have been to head to a butcher.

“That’s not always feasible for those who work all day, but we have created a solution.

“We source great quality meat and cut out the middle man of the larger retailers so that we can deliver fantastic, flavoursome, great value products straight to the door of our customers.”

The website www.jack
spratdelivers.co.uk allows customers to navigate through the different meat, fish and seafood categories, with every product accompanied by a photograph. The products are then delivered for free to those within a seven-mile radius of Market Harborough.

Mr Van Der Liet has employed business people from the district to complete the website design, box printing and graphics, van signage and the equipment in preparation to help him get Jack Sprat started.

He said: “Getting a business up and running is a huge challenge, but we are open and our customers so far are loving the products.”

Jack Sprat can also be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/jacksprat
