Dry clearners sews up new room opening
A HARBOROUGH dry cleaners has launched a new sewing room at its store in The Square.
Johnson Cleaners launched the new service last month.
The firm says it enables people to receive tailoring and fitting for their garments as well as the opportunity to take their own designs and materials to be created by the seamstress in addition to services including curtain alterations as well as jeans and trouser shortening.
Store manager Ilona Lindsay, said: “In the economic climate we are living in a ‘make do and mend’ culture and the Sewing Room lets customers update their wardrobes without having to buy new clothes.
“The service is also ideal for bargain hunters, allowing them to grab a great deal without having to worry about whether it will fit perfectly or not.”
