Warner Edwards Distillery celebrated its first anniversary with the launch of its new Harrington Sloe Gin.

The craft distillery held the celebration event at its base in Harrington.

Guests included Northampton Saint’s star Paul Diggin and the ‘berry brigade’ of sloe berry pickers who hand-picked kilos of the sloes used to create the firm’s latest artisan gin offering.

Co-founders Tom Warner and Sion Edwards hosted their first anniversary event to thank everyone for the support the craft distillery has had in the past 12 months.

Guests enjoyed their first taste of the limited-edition Harrington Sloe Gin which is on sale now.

There was a festive theme to the birthday celebrations with mince pies and Christmas cup cakes created by local baker Layla Beaumont who also created a bespoke birthday cake for the occasion.

Mr Warner said: “It’s been an amazing year. We can’t quite believe it has been a year since we first launched, we have worked like demons and have not looked back since.”
