Tea parties are being held in Market Harborough Building Society branches this month to help raise funds for the air ambulance service.
The air ambulance service is 10-years-old this October and to celebrate, Market Harborough Building Society will be holding OctoBash tea parties throughout its branches to help raise funds.
A spokesman for the society said: “We are delighted to be part of the air ambulance service’s celebrations.
“OctoBash is a great way of bringing the community together to help raise money for a very worthy cause.”
“Everyone is invited so bring your friends and families to your branch for delicious cake and refreshments and put the fun back into fundraising.”
Formed in 2003, the air ambulance service has been helping people across the East Midlands, saving thousands of lives. There are two services operating in the Harborough area, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
The dates for the tea parties at the society’s branches at Kettering in High Street on Tuesday, October 8; at Harborough on The Square on Wednesday, October 9; at Corby in Post Office Square on Friday, October 11; at Desborough in Station Street on Tuesday, October 15; at Kibworth in Station Street on Friday, October 18; and at Rothwell in Bridge Street on Friday, October 25.
