Arboretum open day

THE HAMMOND Arboretum at Harborough’s Robert Smyth Academy in Burnmill Road will be open to visitors on Sunday through the National Gardens Scheme.

There will be an exhibition of plants, a history explanation on the arboretum, plant sale and refresehments.

It runs from 2pm until 5pm with entry costing £3 (accompanied children free).
