A FRENCH-themed market is being held in Harborough town centre for three days from TODAY (Friday, March 12).
The market days will see Gallic goods on offer such as jewellery, clothes, watches, Parisian handbags, hats, soap, books, CDs and DVDs.
Foods available will include cheeses, bread, tarts, biscuits, sausages, olives, spices and sweets.
The market, which has been organised by Harborough District Council, is taking place on The Square.
It is the first time the council has arranged the market for a full three days - from Friday until Sunday (March 14).
It will start at 8.30am each day and run until later afternoon.
Cllr John Everett, Harborough Council's portfolio holder for business, said: "Special events like this not only provide more variety for shoppers but also re-emphasise Harborough's status as a market town.
"It boosts the town's reputation as an excellent retail centre and local shops benefit from the extra visitors it generates."
