WIND turbines produce little waste and are relatively safe but have a detrimental effect on health, property and wildlife, according to the findings of Foxton Parish Council's investigation into the proposed windfarm.
The eight-page report has been produced by the council in response to Energy4All’s proposals to build four 125m-high turbines on land between Lubenham and Gartree.

In researching their response, councillors have looked at Government documents on renewable energy and studied academic and technical reports and newspaper articles on the issue.
