A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an incident in which a man was stabbed.
The 21-year-old male victim suffered wounds to his chest during the incident, at a house in Coulter Close, Scraptoft, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 1.20am.

The victim was taken to hospital and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

He gave no indication of plea and the case was adjourned to a hearing at Leicester Crown Court on May 10.

Bunten was given bail with a curfew and conditions not to enter Coulter Close in Scraptoft.
