PUBS, churches, care homes and other community groups in the Harborough district are being urged to support the third-annual BBC Radio Leicester Sing Christmas event.
The communal Christmas carols sing-along and live radio broadcast will take place this year on Monday, December 21, at 7pm.
Last year's event attracted thousands of countywide singers including 18 venues from the Harborough and Lutterworth area which took part.
The main broadcast hub this year will be Highcross Shopping Centre, Leicester.
Already signed-up for the 2009 event are The White Lion pub in Harborough; Harborough Conservative Club; The Red Lion Pub in Great Bowden; The Queen's Head pub in Billesdon; The Old Greyhound Inn pub in Great Glen; The Coach and Horses pub in Kibworth Harcourt; Kibworth Court Care Home; The Chequers Inn pub in Swinford; and The Rose and Crown pub in Thurnby.
