A LUTTERWORTH academic was invited to the House of Commons to launch his latest book about world politics.
Dr Timothy Lynch, originally from Holly Drive, was promoting his book After Bush: The Case for Continuity in American Foreign Policy, a topical study of current US policies and problems in world affairs.

Dr Lynch, a former Lutterworth Grammar School student and lecturer at Leicester University, is a foreign affairs analyst at London University’s Institute for the Study of the Americas.

Since the trip to the House of Commons, Dr Lynch has travelled to the US to further promote the book.

He dedicated the book to his mother Elizabeth Lynch, who lives in Holly Drive.
