A number of pro-active Harborough residents and groups have
launched their own petitions in the past few years.
Campaigns have included lobbying for a cinema in town, saving facilities at the town's hopsital, backing the Care Shangton village, maintaining services at Harborough train station and fighting car parking charges.
Many of these petitions were able to generate thousands of names.
If you are starting a campaign, make sure to contact The Mail's newsdesk on 01858 436004 and talk to one of the reporters.
We could help publicise your plight and could also carry a paper version of your petition at our offices in Northampton Road.
