A WOMAN accused of causing the death of a 100-year-old woman by driving without due care and attention is to appear at crown court next month.
Jayne Elizabeth Keightley (40), of Rutland Walk, Harborough, is charged with causing the death of pedestrian Ruth Chapman by driving without due care and attention in The Commons car park in Harborough on November 10 last year.

Keightley, who at an earlier hearing chose to be tried at crown court, appeared before Harborough magistrates on Tuesday, where she was committed to stand trial at Leicester Crown Court on Tuesday, August 18.

She gave no indication of plea and was granted unconditional bail.
