A COURSE teaching traders in Harborough how to best arrange their window displays has been hailed a success.
The two-hour session, jointly promoted by Harborough Improvement Team and Harborough Chamber of Trade, on July 9 was fully booked, with eight people attending.

It was led by Sue Moxon who passed on tips about how to turn a passing pedestrian into a customer.

One of the attendees, Reg Cox from Pewter Design, of St Mary’s Road, said: “The session was a real eye-opener and I’ve come away with some very good commonsense ideas.”

Chris Sewart, development officer for Harborough Improvement Team added: “HiT is firmly committed to supporting independent businesses.”

HiT hopes to develop more sessions and is keen to hear from businesses about the types of training people want. Phone Mr Sewart on 01858 465171 or email c.sewart@harborough.gov.uk.
