A MAN has appeared in court charged with having sex with an underaged girl and making indecent images of children.
Barrie White (57), from Russell Street in Kettering, appeared at Harborough Magistrates Court on Thursday where he was told he faces two charges of having sex with a girl in Leicestershire, six of making indecent images of children and seven of possession of indecent images of children.
White also faces another charge of indecently assaulting a girl over the age of 16.
White was told the charges were too serious to be dealt with by the magistrates and his case would be sent to Leicester Crown Court on Thursday, July 16.
He did not enter any plea. He was given conditional bail.
