Miller builds more family homes to cope with demand

Miller Homes East Midlands is set to release six new family homes at its Stretton Glen development in Great Glen to cope with what it says is “exceptionally high demand”.
They are being unveiled as part of a special VIP launch weekend at the development on Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10.
Miller’s team of property experts will be on hand to greet visitors with a glass of fizz and canapés and to talk through the purchase options available.
As an added incentive, anyone who reserves one of the new properties during the VIP weekend will also receive a £1,000 voucher to spend at the Miller Homes Options Centre, where buyers can choose from a range of upgraded fixtures and fittings.
Julia Portington, sales manager for Miller Homes East Midlands, said the team expects these new properties to attract a lot of interest and added: “The rural setting of Stretton Glen and its proximity to excellent schools and transport links to Leicester city centre have made this development incredibly popular with families.
“Our larger property types were the first to be sold when Stretton Glen originally launched and ever since we’ve been inundated with enquiries as to when more will be available. This is the reason why we decided to extend phase one of the development with these additional properties.
“There has been lots of stories about a slow property market but Stretton Glen is testament to the fact that when presented with an enviable location and quality homes that offer true value for money, people are still incredibly keen to make a move.”
Four of the new properties available at Stretton Glen are the five-bedroom Rosebury homes. These spacious properties are spread over 1,983sq ft and feature a large family kitchen and dining area, separate lounge, family room, study and a double garage.
Joining the Rosebury is The Stevenson, a four-bedroom detached property, and the four-bedroom Wells, featuring a lounge with French doors into the garden and a master bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Prices for the new properties start at £304,950.
“Given the enquiries that we’ve already had, we don’t expect these properties to be around for long,” said Julia. “Buyers should also remember that smaller properties are still available at Stretton Glen, including the three-bedroom Auden, so plenty of options are available for all budgets and situations.”
For more information about Stretton Glen and the VIP weekend, phone 0800 840 8634 or visit the sales centre, open daily 10am to 5pm.
