The future’s bright at the Nag’s
Cleaning up their act...Dirty Future - Joe Inman-Hall, Tim Woolley, Dominic Quintiliani and Dan Fordham - who are playing at the Nag's Head in Harborough on Friday.
A HARBOROUGH rock band which has been gigging in the town since forming two years ago is appearing at the Nag’s Head in Harborough tomorrow evening (Friday).
Dirty Future is made up of longtime friends Tim Woolley, Dan Fordham, Joe Inman-Hall and Dominic Quintiliani, who decided to combine their musical talents and form a band.
Since then, the four-piece has been playing at venues in the town and further afield in Leicester to make a name for themselves.
As such, they have made a string of appearances at The Soundhouse in Leicester, both headlining their own evenings and supporting other acts.
They play their own material, which lead singer Dan says is ionspired by artists like The Doors and Madchester pioneers The Stone Roses, who reformed earlier this year to play a number of high profile gigs.
For more information, search for The Dirty Future at www.facebook.com. The band’s Facebook page also contains links to their Soundcloud and Last.fm pages, where a number of their tracks can be heard.
Entry to this Friday’s gig at the Nag’s Head is free.
The pub is also hosting an appearance by rock covers band Road Crew on Saturday evening.
The Nag’s Head has recently started hosting fortnightly acoustic evenings on Wednesdays and is encouraging singers and guitarists to attend.
The next will be held on Wednesday, August 8.
