A FREE music event is to be staged at the Foxton Canal Museum on Saturday and Sunday (May 12 and 13).

The event is a follow-up of last year’s Foxton Canal busking event, which raised hundreds of pounds for the nearby museum – which is a registered charity.

All of the performers on the day will be collecting for the museum and some have travelled from far afield to play at the event.

Parking is available at the nearby Gumley Road car park and if there is bad weather the music event will be held inside the museum.
