Beer-lovers urged to get on the buses for popular annual ale festival

A BEER festival involving 14 pubs from around the Welland Valley areaincluding several in the Harborough district, gets under way next Friday (June 15).

And beer-lovers in the Harborough and Lutterworth district are being urged to get on the buses on the Saturday of the three-day Welland Valley Beer festival.

As has featured in previous years, a free heritage bus service is being organised by the festival committee for the Saturday and will pick people up from outside Harborough train station and the bus depot in Northampton Road, near the Market Hall

The event, from June 15-17, will feature 14 village pubs including The Red Lion and Shoulder of Mutton pubs in Great Bowden, The Fox Inn at Hallaton, The George at Ashley, The Nevill Arms in Medbourne and The Fox Inn, Wilbarston
