Brave...Roy O'Neill who took on The Governess in The Chase

A TRAVELSPHERE employee took on a quiz master on television show The Chase.

Roy O’Neill appeared on The Chase last Friday when he took on Anne Hegerty, better known on The Chase as The Governess.

The ITV show broadcasts at 5pm from Monday to Friday.

It sees contestants answering various questions on a number of subjects while battling against various quiz masters who attempt to chase them as they compete.

Roy gained £1,000 in the initial questions that were asked of him by the show’s host Bradley Walsh.

However, before the chase started however The Governess offered Roy £39,000 to move a step closer to her or minus money to move away.

Roy was given advice by his fellow team mates to stick where he was with his £1,000 but he decided to go for the £39,000.

Unfortunately his gamble did not pay off and Roy walked away without the cash he had wanted to buy a car.

His team mates went on to be beaten by The Governess in The Chase.

Roy works at Travelsphere in Rockingham Road, Harborough, and lives in Tur Langton.
