New festival seeking stalls for June

A MUSIC festival taking place at Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth is looking for traders.

Chazzstock is taking place in June for the first time this year.

Already acts including The Vaccines and The Horrors have been confirmed to perform at the festival.

It has been organised by Steve Haddon as a tribute to his son, Charlie who was lead singer with the pop band Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.

Charlie (22) is believed to have committed suicide.

He died when he fell from a 60ft telecommunications mast hours after a sell-out gig at the Belgian Pukkelpop Festival in August 2010.

Organisers of the festival are now looking for stalls offering items other than food for festival goers.

They already have plenty of food stalls to choose from.

The festival, which is taking place on Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10, will be raising money to support The Prince’s Trust.

Also playing at the festival will be Tribes, Joywride, The Ghosts, The Low Suns, Man Like Me, Jen Armstrong, Safari, The Escapists and many other bands and singers.

For more information and to fill in an online application form to have a stall at the festival, go to the taking part section at www.chazzstock.org.
