Best of British on offer at concert

TWO Lutterworth entertainment groups have teamed up to offer a Best of British concert at St Mary’s Church on March 17.

The event, which starts at 7.30pm, will feature music, songs, dramatic pieces, poetry and prose aimed at highlighting the best British creative works from the past.

Wycliffe Drama Group and Lutterworth Town Band are working together on the concert.

Tickets for the event cost £8 in advance, which includes a glass of wine or a soft drink, and can be bought by phoning St Mary’s Church on 01455 558797, or in person from Aspect Stationers in Church Street or the Lutterworth Town Council office in Coventry Road.
