FOLLOWING the extensive re-tarring of pavements in Harborough, I don't know whether many people have been left in the position we have?
Within seconds of the tarring, large tar-filled post-delivering footsteps made their way to the front door.

Having not long ago laid a new stone path, this was just a bit of a niggle.

But a neighbour came to the rescue with paraffin, rubber gloves and a cloth and the footsteps have disappeared! End of problem.

So I thought I would share this solution and thank my neighbour for his suggestion at the same time!

Susan Clow,

Logan Street,

Harborough.
