Could lollies help lick Afghan violence too?

TOP marks to the police for their 'lolly' initiative. If handing out lollies is a remedy for diffusing violent situations then perhaps the British soldiers in Afghanistan can be given lollies to hand out to the Taliban.
Alternatively, why don’t we air drop thousands of lollies on to the Afghanistan population?

But before this is carried out, the health and safety executive would have to issue a warning for the people to wear hard hats at all times for protection.
