PEOPLE are enjoying the week-long Fleckneyfest event this week, which still has three days to go.
The event was launched in August 2006 as a one-day carnival but has expanded into seven days of activities in a bid to raise £10,000 to build an all-weather pitch at the village recreation ground.
Fleckney Silver Band will be in concert at St Nicholas Church from 7.30pm tonight, and a walking family treasure hunt will be held tomorrow from 6.30 until 7.30pm starting at the church hall.
The finale on Saturday will see the village packed out for a fun day and live music stage from 1pm to 10pm.
