AUDITIONS and read-throughs for an upcoming play are taking place in Kibworth over the next few weeks.
In July Kibworth Theatre Company will be staging the Mike Harding comedy Fur Coat and No Knickers.

The story centres on a boozy stag night which goes wrong and portrays outrageous stereotypes, local political squabbling and class warfare.

Director Mark Wood said: “A large cast of all ages is required and there are some great character parts for all ages for budding and experienced actors to get their teeth into, both male and female.

“We are always on the lookout for new members so even if you have never done anything like this before please feel free to come along to the read-throughs to find out what it’s all about.”

Read-throughs are scheduled for January 13 and 20, with auditions on January 27 (male) and 28 (female). They all take place at St Wilfrid’s Church Hall in Church Road, Kibworth, at 8pm.

For more information visit www.kibworth.org.uk, or email Mr Wood at theatre@kibworth.org.uk, or phone 07730 955159.
