SIXTH form pupils will hold a charity fete on Saturday.
The pupils of Leicester Grammar School, in London Road, Great Glen, will be raising money for the county’s Loros hospice charity and for schools in Africa.
Entry and parking costs £1.50, and there will be plenty on offer from midday to 4pm, including a glider simulator and stalls selling a wide range of items from organic produce to jewellery.
Loros will also have its own stall.
Refreshments will be available, including home-made cakes, ice cream, strawberries and cream, and samosas. Live music will also be played on the day.
There will also be a car show with vintage and new cars including Jaguars, Bentleys, Mercedes, Porsches and Alfa Romeos.
A cricket match between the 1st XI and 2nd XI will also be played on the day.
