Review: The Opera Show at Kilworth House Hotel's outdoor theatre, North Kilworth
WHAT an electrifying night (September 3) it was!
The three acts of Mitch Sebastian’s show were so diverse with stories unfolding in each. The baroque, Viennese carnival atmosphere was stupendous – costumes, masks, shoes, dance and, of course, the stunning opera.
Likewise, Revolutions, based on the 1940s. The electronic revolution was outrageous. Rock-meets-opera. I have never heard Nights in White Satin as it was last Thursday!
Nessun Dorma was avidly awaited and we were not disappointed. There was nothing to fault. It was such a splendid performance by everyone including the orchestra and backstage hands and you did not have to be an opera buff.
I am already looking forward to whatever the theatre stages next year. The show is touring the USA and mainland Europe next year so I wish To Be Productions good luck!
What a treasure!

l The show (at 8pm) continues until this Sunday. Tickets cost between £19 and £25. Phone 01858 881939 for availability.
