FORENSIC psychologist and author Paul Britton is making a return to Harborough Theatre later this month.
Mr Britton, who worked on high-profile murder cases such as the Fred and Rosemary West serial killings and the James Bulger case, gave a sold-out talk at the venue last January and is returning by popular demand.
He will be giving a talk about his career and work on Thursday, January 21, at 7.45pm. It is the first of a series of talks at the theatre entitled An Audience With.
Mr Britton wrote critically-acclaimed non-fiction books The Jigsaw Man and Picking Up the Pieces in the 1990s which led to him being dubbed 'the real-life Cracker' after actor Robbie Coltrane's TV character.
A clinical psychologist by profession, he was drawn into the harrowing world of murder investigation in the 1980s.
He now lives in the Harborough area.
Tickets cost £5, available from Quinns Bookshop in Three Crowns Yard, off High Street, Harborough.
