THIS is the image of a man police are eager to catch after he caused £4,000 damage by jumping onto a car roof.
The picture is a still from a brief video which can be seen by clicking the green video link.
The yob was captured on CCTV jumping on the bonnet before climbing onto the roof of the car, parked in Woodmarket near the junction with Wheeler Close in Lutterworth.
He then walks out of the shot in the direction of Woodway Road.
The footage was recorded in the early hours of Saturday, November 10, and has just been supplied to the Mail by police.
Sgt Iain Wakelam, from Lutterworth Police, said: "We have received several reports of damage to vehicles parked in Woodmarket recently.
"This has included wing mirrors being kicked off cars and other damage."
Lutterworth PCSO Ray Wells added: "This is particularly mindless and he has caused a lot of damage to the car.
"There was damage to the bonnet and roof."
The image shows a man aged between about 18 and 20, about 6ft tall with long, thick dark hair.
He is wearing a light-coloured sweatshirt, blue jeans and trainers. The sweatshirt has a distinctive design on the front which looks like an eagle in flight.
Officers believe the suspect lives in the Woodmarket or Woodway Road area as he was alone and probably on his way home.
