DESPITE a year of personal problems, Ryan has continued to excel at football, winning numerous awards since a young age.
This year Ryan (17), of Macaulay Road, Lutterworth, was chosen to represent Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Club Under-18s.
Ryan is the first Lutterworth Athletic player to ever attain this level. Not only has he started his county career, he is the highest goal scorer for the team.
His fiancee’s mum, Julie Willstrop, nominated him for our Footballer award, saying: “Ryan highly deserves this award for his commitment to football, playing for Lutterworth Athletic Under-18s, reserves and first team, and now his county.
“Showing immense skill, it won’t be long until this football player is playing for the big teams!
“His family are very proud of Ryan, especially his wag, Jasmine!”
