FOLLOW the exploits of a mountaineer from Harborough as he attempts to reach the top of Everest.
Ian Rogers, of Lathkill Street, Harborough is hoping to reach the earth's highest point while raising money for Cancer Research UK as well as raising awareness of their SunSmart skin cancer prevention campaign.
His incredible mission is dedicated to the memory of his former parter Jan Varese, who died from skin cancer two years ago aged 46.
