ORGANISERS of a Harborough slimming group met reality TV star Mark Wright recently.

Georgie Grinling and Dawn Cook, who run a Slimming World class at Little Bowden Primary School every Thursday, posed for a photo with the star of The Only Way is Essex during the weight-loss organisation’s annual awards ceremony.

Mark, who also featured in I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, and who also fronts ITV2 show Take Me Out The Gossip, was joined by Slimming World’s founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell for the ceremony in Birmingham.

Dawn and Georgie, who also run weekly sessions in Melton Mowbray, said they were thrilled to meet Mark, describing it as the perfect end to a great year.

Dawn added: “At this time of year lots of people will be making New Year’s resolutions and pledging to lose weight, and we’d love anyone who wants to make a change to come along and join us.
