READER Gareth Birds took these photos of fireworks during the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

They were taken from his home in Ridgeway West, Harborough, shortly after midnight.

He told the Mail: “The two photos were taken just after midnight on 1st Jan showing a fireworks display over Harborough as seen from my house on Ridgeway West.

“Both photos combine eight separate images to make the final ‘composite’.”
