Pharmacy extension for medical centre

An application has been submitted to add a pharmacy at Market Harborough Medical Centre.

The existing dispensary which only serves patients from surrounding villages will be extended into the existing reception area and internal alterations will be made inside.

The 100-hour pharmacy would be open Mondays to Fridays, 6.30pm until 11pm, on Saturdays from 8am until 11pm and on Sundays between 8am and 6pm.

It is hoped the application will result in less congestion in the car park where it is believed patients leave their cars when they go to pick up prescriptions in town.
