Map detailing public rights of way made available at library

COPIES of maps detailing the district’s public footpaths, bridleways and byways will be available to view in Harborough Library.

The Definitive Map is the official record of the existence, status and position of all of the county’s current public rights of ways.

The map comprises 116 large sheets which will be updated periodically to reflect any changes made to the paths.

Leicestershire County Council has made reference copies of the map available at Harborough Library as well as others across the county.

Photocopies can be made with normal photocopying charges applying.

The library closed in December in preparation for the redevelopment of the Adam and Eve Street building but it will operate a temporary service from Millers House, in Roman Way, Harborough from Monday, January 21.
