So the people of Harborough are up in arms about the possible closure of the Ambulance station are they?

What a pity then they could not show their objections at last week’s public meeting with East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Only four, yes four members of the public including myself bothered to turn up to what was a terrific opportunity to show just how we feel.

I am sure the mood around EMAS headquarters was “well that was a piece of cake – not much objection there!’

Well done to our councillors though who did attend in numbers and voice some very good points.

So now the EMAS roadshow has moved on – don’t start moaning now the people of Harborough – you had your chance.
