Traffic lights have appeared

WE now know why the works at the Farndon Road/Coventry Road junction have taken so long.

Those tricky people at the Leicestershire Highways Department have slipped another set of traffic lights into the town.

The nearby major junction of Welland Park Road/Coventry Road with a mini roundabout has worked satisfactorily for many years.

The Highways Department must think that the traffic flow through the town is too fast.
