Talent judging system was not fair

HARBOROUGH certainly does have talent.

Amy Cowen played guitar and sang with great confidence at the Harborough’s Got Talent final.

Bradley Chapman’s street dance was excellent and Ella Rogers Waterman is a star in the making, for sure.

What a pity they didn’t stand a chance.

It was inevitable that Woodcock Theatre Arts dancers would win, due to the audience voting system.

A single participant might have ten family and friends voting for them.

An act with eight members is bound to get far more votes.

It would have been much fairer to have four impartial judges from outside town to decide the winner.

Good luck to all the contestants for the future. Don’t give up; you were all fantastic.

Middle Street,

Foxton.
