No sporting chance for birds

AT THE weekend, I came across hundreds of farmed birds being fatally wounded by a few shooters.

This cannot be a sport, because, in proper sport or game, all the participants are willing to take part, and all have a fair chance of winning or losing.

In this case, the shooters had nothing to lose and the birds could not win. It does not seem like sport to me!
