Council doesn’t listen
WHY won’t they listen! (Headlines Harborough Mail, October 11, 2012).
I don’t know what you mean, the council always listens, they just don’t take any notice.
Look at the track record to name but a few:
Market Hall - they ignored for an eternity. Only when the stallholders had got together and collected a petition of thousands, then local feelings were listened to.
Windy Ridge - even though the locals have found proof that there is no doubt, no question, that all sorts of contaminants are buried underground, they still ignored local feelings.
Shrewsbury Avenue - they are not taking any notice at all, so it seems they have a policy of building anywhere they please.
I thought they were there to serve us, not visa versa.
