Artisan market was perfect way to get festive shopping underway

The Christmas Artisan Market, held at the Old Grammar School, on Saturday Dec 1st, was hailed as a great success.

Shoppers found a range of quality of handmade work and gifts from local makers on

sale and supported the event in great numbers.

Visitors praised the location and enjoyed the ambience of the iconic building, whilst doing their Christmas shopping.

More monthly Artisan Markets are planned for 2013, when even more makers and designers will be selling their work.

It was a great way to start the festive shopping season in the town!
