Hard work pays off as pre-school given thumbs-up

A HAT-TRICK of consecutive outstanding Ofsted results is being celebrated by a Harborough Pre-School.

Welland Park Pre-School achieved its latest outstanding grade – the highest given out – following an inspection earlier this year.

Only about five per cent of pre-schools inspected in the last three years achieved the outstanding grade, say Ofsted.

It was praised for its enthusiastic and dedicated staff and the commitment to children’s safety and welfare.

An outdoor area in which pupils learn about plants was also spoken of highly.

Manager Tammy Thorne said: “It is a true recognition of all the hardwork and dedication of a fantastic staff team.”
